Wallets on TezDice
You do not need to install anything to play. You may still want to.
Signing in with email or Google already gives you one
A Tezos wallet is created for your account the moment you sign in. It has a real address, holds real XTZ, and works everywhere on this site — dice, sports, crash, the lot. Nothing to install and nothing to back up.
The trade-off: TezDice holds the key for that wallet. It is encrypted, and only your account can spend from it — but you are trusting us with it, and you cannot open it in another app. That is a reasonable deal for play money and small stakes, and a worse one the more you hold.
If you would rather hold your own keys: Temple
Temple is a Tezos wallet where the key stays on your device. TezDice never sees it — you approve each signature yourself, and you can take the wallet elsewhere whenever you like. It also supports Etherlink, which is where the USDC games settle.
TezDice is not affiliated with Temple and earns nothing from this recommendation. It is here because it is the one we have tested end to end on both networks.
Other wallets, as tested
- Kukai — did not work on either network. Not recommended for this site.
- AirGap — works on mainnet, but not on Shadownet, so it cannot be used with the sportsbook.
- Umami — untested. It speaks Beacon and may well work, but we have not tried it and will not claim otherwise.
Using Temple on Shadownet
Mainnet works out of the box. Shadownet — the test network the sportsbook runs on, where the money is not real — takes one bit of setup, and it differs between the extension and the app.
In the browser extension
Shadownet is already there — nothing to type. It is hidden until testnet mode is on, and that switch is genuinely hard to find:
- 1.Open the menu — The ☰ button, top right of the Temple window.
- 2.Find the flask icon — At the very bottom of that menu is a row of small round buttons with no labels. The flask is the one on the right — hover it and it widens to read “Testnet”. Click it.
- 3.Settings → Networks — A Mainnet / Testnet toggle now appears at the top. Switch it to Testnet.
- 4.Pick Shadownet — Listed under “Tezos Testnets”. Select it and Temple is on the right network.
On the mobile app
Shadownet is not in the list there, so the steps above will not find it. Add it by hand instead — Temple → Settings → Networks → Testnet → + — using this RPC:

Which should I use?
- Just trying it out — sign in with email or Google. The built-in wallet is fine and there is nothing to set up.
- Playing with real money you care about — install Temple. Holding your own key means a problem at our end cannot cost you your balance.
- Already have a Tezos wallet — try connecting it, but check the tested list above first. Speaking Beacon has not turned out to be enough: Kukai failed on both networks and AirGap cannot reach Shadownet.
